In both riding establishments, we treat our horses along the principles of Natural Horsemanship, as promoted by Monty Roberts, Kelly Marks and other "Horse Whisperers".
We feel our horses must want to be with us and work with us because they trust us. We cannot accept any harsh treatment of them. Our horses are well-trained and responsive, but sometimes they do not quite understand what you ask of them. Do not punish them, but accept that you may not have given the right aid. Ask them again, and if they do not respond, ask our instructors. That way, you and your horse will forge a bond, even during your short riding holiday with us, that you will never forget!
